The razor

There is someone I know on the razor. He was asked to commit atrocities in the name of this country. He refused. His fate is now undetermined. I am not a fool. I am aware that this nation has done horrific things. I am aware, and I admit that it is selfish conceit which allowed me to view these with the unsympathetic and clinical eye of a historian as facts, and occurrences. Now it has struck close to home. Now that evil monster that impersonates a Democratic Republic tried to use someone close to me as its sick tool of vile corruption. He refused. He did not compromise on what was right. He didnt do what Nazi troopers did, or what Japanese soldiers did, or what our own calvary did to the Native Americans. He looked at that vile, contemptible sack of shit tool of evil, giving him an order that goes against everything this country is supposed to be about. and said no. The pride I feel today is unmeasurable. The anger and rage is likewise without end.

It causes me to have to view things through new eyes. Anger at an opposing army for killing a member of your army is stupid, and in the warrior's code, it is understood. You fight a war, you stand a chance to be killed. But how do you justify killing innocents in cold blood? You can't. It's not done by the good guys. To do so makes you the bad guy. The bad guy at the end of the story needs to die. Our government is the bad guy. It makes you view other people burning your flag in another light. How would you feel about a nation that orders a man to come into your house and shoot your defenseless family. You would hate them and wish them hell. How do you feel when you love a country and realize that under its name, evil men have gone and committed heinous acts against innocents? How do you feel when you now know that those others who hate you have all the right to be so angry?

You do what a patriot does. I now stand against this government and all its parties and participants, legal, judicial and military and call for its downfall. I don't want an electoral change. I don't want an impeachment. I don't want an investigation. I want a revolution! I want them all gone. I want the men who have wrapped themselves up in that beloved and blessed flag to commit murder to hang, or face the firing squad, and to pay for their crimes. I want the world to see that the people of this land are good and that we will root out evil and smite it, and that we not only believe in our ideals but we hold all those here to them, and if you violate them, you pay the ultimate price. I no longer support change at the voting booth. The only change this government deserves is at the end of a rope or gun barrel.
