The razor

There is someone I know on the razor. He was asked to commit atrocities in the name of this country. He refused. His fate is now undetermined. I am not a fool. I am aware that this nation has done horrific things. I am aware, and I admit that it is selfish conceit which allowed me to view these with the unsympathetic and clinical eye of a historian as facts, and occurrences. Now it has struck close to home. Now that evil monster that impersonates a Democratic Republic tried to use someone close to me as its sick tool of vile corruption. He refused. He did not compromise on what was right. He didnt do what Nazi troopers did, or what Japanese soldiers did, or what our own calvary did to the Native Americans. He looked at that vile, contemptible sack of shit tool of evil, giving him an order that goes against everything this country is supposed to be about. and said no. The pride I feel today is unmeasurable. The anger and rage is likewise without end.

It causes me to have to view things through new eyes. Anger at an opposing army for killing a member of your army is stupid, and in the warrior's code, it is understood. You fight a war, you stand a chance to be killed. But how do you justify killing innocents in cold blood? You can't. It's not done by the good guys. To do so makes you the bad guy. The bad guy at the end of the story needs to die. Our government is the bad guy. It makes you view other people burning your flag in another light. How would you feel about a nation that orders a man to come into your house and shoot your defenseless family. You would hate them and wish them hell. How do you feel when you love a country and realize that under its name, evil men have gone and committed heinous acts against innocents? How do you feel when you now know that those others who hate you have all the right to be so angry?

You do what a patriot does. I now stand against this government and all its parties and participants, legal, judicial and military and call for its downfall. I don't want an electoral change. I don't want an impeachment. I don't want an investigation. I want a revolution! I want them all gone. I want the men who have wrapped themselves up in that beloved and blessed flag to commit murder to hang, or face the firing squad, and to pay for their crimes. I want the world to see that the people of this land are good and that we will root out evil and smite it, and that we not only believe in our ideals but we hold all those here to them, and if you violate them, you pay the ultimate price. I no longer support change at the voting booth. The only change this government deserves is at the end of a rope or gun barrel.

Where I am.

I was arguing with my favorite raving conservative, when I responded with this. Felt like recording it here.

What left? What right? These are both the same animal. They both serve the same masters. but one of them understands that for this machine to roll it needs to give something to the peasants, the peons, the great unwashed masses. it at least lubes it up before prison raping us .The other side, which you support, is raping us, tells us its raping us, and then beating us up when we don't say thank you. The solution is not around. None of the ones you are hearing offers us anything. Your side says to give everything to the rich and then since they have been so generous in the past, we will get ours..eventually. The other side offers us programs which never show up and never help and never do anything. Meanwhile we as a nation produce nothing but soldiers and war, expect people without money to pay for services from a Healthcare industry which is against curing anything because cures aren't profitable. We are "protected" by cops that are no more than cowardly bullies, and a court system which at best is ineffectual. Where is the answer? I know its not the one you have, and mine only involves fire and death. You know who's right? Nobody.

Just How Much More?

Scott launches newspaper writing campaign for himself

110617_rick_scott.jpgGov. Rick Scott, the rare statewide politician who doesn't read Florida news, is asking supporters to send a letter to their local newspaper editor praising his work as governor. The letter, of course, would be printed in a paper's editorial section. Scott has yet to sit for an interview with any editorial board in the state.
Scott includes a pre-written letter on his web site that refers to himself as "refreshing" and that he deserves "unwavering and enthusiastic support." A link to the letter was included in an e-mail Scott sent to supporters today boasting that Florida's unemployment rate declined for the fifth consecutive month.
The form letter is set up to be sent to the Fort Lauderdale Sun-Sentinel, Jacksonville Times-Union, Orlando Sentinel, Tallahassee Democrat, Tampa Tribune and the Scripps papers along the Treasure Coast.
Here's a copy:
Dear Editor,

When Rick Scott ran for Governor he promised to create jobs and turn our economy around. I voted for Rick because he’s always been a businessman, not a politician. While politicians usually disappoint us and rarely keep their promises, Rick is refreshing because he’s keeping his word. His policies are helping to attract businesses to our state and get people back to work. Some of the special interests are attacking the Governor for making tough decisions, showing leadership, and doing what he told us he would do. Rick Scott deserves our unwavering and enthusiastic support. How can we expect to elect leaders who will keep their word and do what’s right for our state if we don’t stand up for those with the courage to set priorities, make difficult choices, and actually deliver on their promises made?

Well heres my version:
Dear Editor,
When Rick Scott ran for Governor he promised to create jobs and turn our economy around. I didn’t vote for Rick because he’s always been a crook, and a liar. While politicians usually disappoint us and rarely keep their promises, Rick is refreshing because you are certain he is lying. His policies are helping to attract businesses to our state at the cost of our environment and get people back to work at low paying jobs without any benefits or rights. Most of the people are attacking the Governor for making decisions, showing criminal disregard for our state, and doing what those of us who didn’t vote for him, knew he would do. Rick Scott deserves our unwavering and continual scrutiny so eventually an investigation into his activities would be initiated. How can we expect to elect leaders who will keep their word and do what’s right for our state if we keep on electing people like Rick Scott.

Hell in a Handbasket

I've been waiting for the balloon to go up since the 80's. It was the Russians then. Now its everyone from Moslems to the New World Order. Any and /or all of these groups will destroy the world at any given time. Well I am still waiting. Its not that I am worried and in dismay about the current civilization grinding to a halt, its more like impatience and when will it finally get here?

The Bilderberg Meeting is right now going on in St Moritz Switzerland. Conspiracy Theorists, Alex Jones, and others are all over this like ants on a fallen ice cream cone in summer. Are these shadowy men inside these conferences good men? More than likely not. Would we be better off if NATO has a huge accident and drops a MOAB on these guys leaving a smoking crater? Absolutely. The heads of banks, and financial houses and governments are in there. Of course we'd be better off with them dead. Are they planning the efficient and streamlined end to all dissension and the rise of the new world order? Who cares.

I have been a news fanatic since I was a child. My parents did irrevocable damage to me by letting the vietnam reports be the music of my suppertime as a toddler. So I have a good 40+ years of watching the continual spin of this planet. It is in my humble opinion we are more fucked than ever. I am reminded of Yeats' "Second Coming"

 Turning and turning in the widening gyre
    The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
    Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
    Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
    The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
    The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
    The best lack all conviction, while the worst
    Are full of passionate intensity

It is the lack of hope and innocence across the board that will be our demise. Dreams and heroes are now extinct. We always had heroes before. Even those whose feet were of clay were able to rouse the hope and aspirations of some. Now babies are fed cynicism in their mothers milk and a walk through a shopping mall is an exhibition of the dead eyes of the pubescent. There are no flights of fancy any longer for this new generation of man that is not based in the prurient . We no longer look at the blue skies and dream of tomorrow. The dystopic future of 80's cinema is already here in thought if not in form.

Here is why I then do not fear this "New World Order". We may grow to like the downward spiral. If the cities of the poor burn, why not light the citadels of the rich? If we the rabble are rounded up to exist in the squalor, why not bring down the whole thing. These old men that may or may not be formulating these nightmares, may not be aware of the monster that has been born twisted and mutated out here in the warrens. They may not even conceive that the beast of burden they seek to yoke to pull the wagon of their Plutocratic utopia may turn out to be the mares of Diomedes. All that will probably be is a new world, very much like the old world, but having nothing to do with order.

First Salvo

We have forgotten where we have come from. In the heart of America, at its core, at its inception, we are a revolutionary country. We have forgotten that we were not born from public protest, not from recall petitions, nor any of the actions allowed us by a democratic republic. We were born from the only option offered to the oppressed by dictators and kleptocrats. We were born in a muzzle flash. We were born from the fear in the eye of the evil when their lives hang on the mercy of the man with his finger on the trigger. We may need to revisit this  option here in Florida.

In Florida a thief has bought the governorship, and blatantly and openly is stealing money and destroying this state. He orchestrates press excursions so he doesn't have to deal with dissension or opposition because he simply doesn't care. He has an agenda. That agenda in no way has anything to do with helping this state. Due to the political idiocy in this state, a GOP majority has been foisted on the legislature to serve as his rubber stamp.

Are we powerless? Are we now forced to endure and suffer four years while the environment,and the well being, and the economy of this state is made shambles by a criminal, who when done with us, plans to then go home to Texas with the spoils and pillage of his criminal spree. I say we have an option.

We must bring to the table the extreme option. For many years that option was not employed. The electoral process and democracy ensured that change would eventually come. This is not present here. Eight years of this vile animal will leave us beyond repair and destitute. But the turning point in history is upon us. A political position has been clearly and openly purchased in defiance and mockery of the beliefs held in this republic. This position has been purchased with a clear intent to defy the will of the populace and to callously disregard its needs for private gain.

The time has come for those in power to be reminded that we were born in fire. That freedom was won by the death of tyrants and of villains. The time has come for us to consider that the only way to rid us of this vile, contemptible thief is to extricate him from his office at the end of our guns. Perhaps not right now, but soon it may come to pass that we as citizens of this state will have to ride up to Tallahassee and politely but forcibly ask Mr Scott, and his conspirator, the lieutenant governor to resign and leave. If they refuse then our guns will speak with a voice heard at the birth of freedom, a voice heard in the ears of despots and beasts who oppress their fellow man.

I hope and dream that eventually the federal government will investigate, and charge and then prosecute Mr Scott, but if that doesn't come to pass, it may be that our only option is the gun. its time we consider this. its time Mr Scott considers this, and takes note of what position in history he may hold. Justice must be done.
